Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for the Cosmetics Industry

Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for cosmetics are compulsory for the European market and is highly recommended for other markets, including the local retail markets. GMP compliance most importantly improves the quality of products; and reduces the risk of a cosmetics company misbranding its products. ISO 22716:2007 is the international standard for Good Manufacturing Practices for cosmetics. GMP is based on compliance by self-assessment unless a company wishes to obtain ISO certification. NANCi offers a step-by-step approach, in ten sessions, to GMP in the cosmetics industry according to ISO22716. All sessions will be moderated by Dr. Hoederath. He is also available to mentor participating companies through the process. Information and recordings will be made available to registered participants who may have missed a session.
Date: Every second Tuesday in a month. Starting 9 February 2021 & ending 9 November 2021. A degree of flexibility will be implemented based on specific needs.
